Day 1 — Arrival in Djibouti
Arrival in Djibouti and transfer to the hotel.
First introduction to the capital — a mix of African, Arab and French influences shaped by its strategic location at the crossroads of continents.
Overnight in Djibouti City.

Day 2 — Moucha Island
Day trip to Moucha Island, where turquoise waters and coral reefs offer a slower rhythm.
Time to swim, snorkel and enjoy the calm side of the Gulf of Tadjoura.
Return to Djibouti City.
Overnight in Djibouti.

Day 3 — Whale Sharks & Lake Abbé
Early start in search of whale sharks — a rare opportunity to swim alongside the largest fish in the world.
Later, we drive toward the surreal landscape of Lake Abbé, known for its limestone chimneys and otherworldly atmosphere.
Overnight camping near Lake Abbé.

Day 4 — Lake Assal & Salt Landscapes
Sunrise at Lake Abbé before heading to Lake Assal — one of the lowest points in Africa and a striking salt lake framed by volcanic terrain.
Return to Djibouti City in the afternoon.
Overnight in Djibouti.

Day 5 — Departure
Last stroll through the city before transfer to the airport.
You leave having crossed deserts, salt flats and open seas — a compact journey through one of the Horn of Africa’s most extreme landscapes.
