Full itinerary*
The itinerary may be subject to minor adjustments depending on local conditions, timing and operational requirements.

Day 1 — Arrival & First Impressions

Arrival in Socotra and drive to Detwah Lagoon. Turquoise water, white sand, and vast silence — the island immediately feels different.

First swim, first sunset, first taste of life off the grid.

Dinner and overnight camping at Detwah Lagoon.

Day 2 — Remote Shores & Dragon’s Blood Trees

We take a boat along the wild coastline to reach Shoab Beach — remote and often completely empty.

After lunch in Wadi Dirhur, we head into the highlands to camp among the iconic Dragon’s Blood Trees — one of Socotra’s most surreal landscapes.

Dinner and overnight in the forest.

Day 3 — Beaches, Caves & Sand Dunes

We explore Omaq Beach before visiting Dejab Cave. Later, we reach the towering dunes of Zhaq, where desert meets ocean in dramatic fashion.

Sunset over the dunes. Dinner and overnight at Zhaq camp.

Day 4 — Canyons & Arher Beach

We walk through the clear waters of Kalysan Canyon before moving to Arher Beach — where giant dunes rise straight from the sea.

Camping overnight at Arher.

Day 5 — Hoq Cave

Hike to Hoq Cave, a vast limestone cavern filled with impressive rock formations and ancient inscriptions.

Afternoon back at Arher Beach to relax by the sea.

Overnight camping at Arher.

Day 6 — Natural Pools & Marine Reserve

Visit the Homhil protected area and its natural pools overlooking the ocean.

Later, snorkel in the clear waters of the Dihamri marine reserve.

Dinner and overnight in Dihamri.

You leave with sand in your shoes, salt on your skin, and the feeling of having experienced one of the last truly wild places on Earth.
